Located in Grantsburg, WI

Salary: $18+ per hour

Job Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts using automated equipment and accurate measurements. Pay for this position is $18+ an hour depending on experience and qualifications.

1st shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and do simple set ups on a CNC Mill. Operate and adjust auxiliary equipment.
• Check parts produced for dimensional and finish conformance to specifications.
• Adjust machine as required and correct any deviations that may occur.
• Perform operational sequence planning.
• Suggest improvements for standard or special tooling to suit materials or unusual cutting conditions.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Remove machined parts, bar ends and turnings from machine.
• Maintain statistical process control charting.
• Use all standard, variable, and attribute gauging to check work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Must be able to do tool grinding, sharpening, and make proper tool selection.
• Competent in the use of computers.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
