Responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a diverse team of site managers, adjustment technicians, safety managers, and mechanical and electrical contractors. Coordinate with Japan (MML) and other MMUSA installation leaders to drive objectives related to installation. Create long-term plans and schedules to support projects with highly trained personnel, qualified contractors, and required materials to exceed customer expectations. Ensure team performance meets or exceeds expectations in safety, schedule, cost, and quality. Capable of managing a diverse organization across various locations and preventing escalations from reaching senior leaders. Manage multiple projects at less demanding sites and report to a Director of Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operational Leadership: Model safe behaviors, support quality processes, hire and manage diverse teams, manage customer relationships, oversee projects valued over $50 million, manage budgets exceeding $5 million, and proactively address issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Team Development: Coach and mentor site leadership, hire talent, collaborate with peers, and develop contractor performance metrics. Organizational Leadership: Assist in executing strategic objectives, create project planning, align with global operations, drive continuous improvement, develop KPIs, manage project budgets, and troubleshoot issues. Management Responsibilities: Oversee quality installations, interview, hire, train employees, plan and direct work, evaluate performance, and resolve employee issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with over 5 years of complex project/site leadership experience, or equivalent. Experience managing large projects and direct communication with customer management. Technical Degree preferred. Language Skills: Ability to interpret customer requirements, develop strategies, present, negotiate, and write reports. Japanese language skills are preferred. Reasoning Ability: Define problems, analyze data, interpret technical instructions, and apply analytical skills. Other Skills: Familiarity with Automated Material Handling Systems, electro/mechanical and PLC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong management and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to handle stressful situations. Travel: Up to 25% travel with overnight stays; valid driver’s license required. Physical Demands: Ability to handle physical tasks, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform in a typical work environment including clean rooms and mechanical areas. Work Environment: Frequently in clean room environments, occasionally near moving mechanical parts, with moderate noise levels.
