Under the direction of the Director of Marketing Operations, the Associate Director ensures smooth work progression and completion as projects move through the execution process. In addition, they are responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking and reporting on operational efficiency measures, and supporting effective and efficient cross-team resource utilization.**Responsibilities*** Collaborates with the Marketing and Communications team and other departments to understand project scope, gather requirements, and create comprehensive project timelines. Leads the development of strategic plans that align with the department and School’s highest priorities.* Works with all teams to implement and manage projects, including any required changes, and leads their execution. Demonstrates flexibility and agility to ensure successful project progression and completion, effectively collaborating and prioritizing resources.* Maintains responsibility for partner communications to ensure timely project delivery. Adopts a collaborative approach and provides strategic guidance for pivots when necessary.* Directs and manages the transition to a singular project management platform. Ensures the integration of feedback from team and partners, and effective execution of operational workflows.* Oversees automation efforts to streamline workflows, merging current processes into a unified and seamless operation.* Supports the redistribution and automation of current roles, transitioning specific tasks to part-time positions.* Develops a framework for tracking operational key performance indicators and assists in the audit and documentation of operational processes.* Serves as a key presenter and facilitator in project reviews, ensuring that meeting actions are documented and communicated effectively.* Assists in conducting weekly status meetings and works to resolve issues, identifying the most efficient path to resolution.* Acts as a point of contact for operational matters, reinforcing the strategic value of marketing. Collaborates with partners and various internal and external departments and senior leadership.* Acts as a critical liaison to enhance connectivity between Marketing and departments such as ARD, Admissions, and Centers.* Serves on cross-functional committees, like the AI marketing sub-committee, to represent the interests of Marketing and Communications.* Works somewhat independently to develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
