Job Description

A K-12 school in the Copperas Cove area is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract position for the upcoming school year. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis to support students in an educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement behavior strategies
• Monitoring and analyzing student progress to adjust plans as needed
• Providing training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices in special education

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and data collection methods

Location: Copperas Cove, TX area (Lampasas, TX proximity)
