Boston Cares is the largest volunteer agency in New England, a member of the Points of Light Global Network, and an award-winning leader in the volunteer engagement sector. Boston Cares partners with nonprofits and schools to expand their impact by mobilizing diverse people to collaboratively address our community’s critical needs. Filling more than 20,000 volunteer spots annually in support of more than 150 Greater Boston schools and non-profit agencies, we offer a wide array of programs and opportunities that make it simple for all to volunteer no matter how busy their schedules. We believe volunteers transform communities through service and civic engagement. We are seeking members to join our Fiduciary Board as well as our Associate Board. Our Associate Board is specifically designed to accommodate early career professionals–a smaller financial expectation, flexibility in scheduling, and many opportunities to learn about board activities while participating.
