Who You Are: The Business Intelligence / Data Analyst will support the Product WiFi Data Intelligence team by performing data analysis and reporting tasks, while also helping to manage projects, stakeholder relationships, and prioritization efforts with Product Owners across the WiFi Product organization. At the Consultant-level, you will be expected to independently contribute ideas, recommendations, and solutions toward solving business challenges, construct key components of deliverables/presentations, and contribute to the development of Intellectual Capital (IC) and Marketing Collateral. You will serve as a team leader for individual work streams and acquire a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s expertise, product set, and capabilities. Most importantly, you will embrace our firm’s brand and core values. Role and Responsibilities: You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above. Decompose key business problems to identify value areas and structure and implement complex technology solutions for the client. Deliver advisory services to Senior Management and above in support of technology-enabled business changes. Meet with client staff on a daily basis to understand key issues with how they operate today and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations and technology landscape. Identify and qualify additional business opportunities Prepare solutions and proposals and present to clients Strong relational database skills are required utilizing SQL within an AWS environment. In addition to they may be working with external sources, including other databases, manual files, and external websites. Candidate may also be tasked to analyze data and reports to monitor trends, product and feature launches and work with product owners to identify areas of improvement through data and reporting. Position will also assist in investigating issues with operations teams identifying metrics and KPIs to foster improvements our products and services. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of previous Business Intelligence or Data Analysis is required Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field Prior consulting experience –in an agile environment – with a leading strategy firm, consulting practice, or consulting technology firm Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis features within Excel Highly collaborative, team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills Ability to lead project working groups and possesses strong facilitation and data gathering skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical personnel Working in Jira and Confluence tools is required to help manage projects, prioritize work and document requirements. Familiarity and experience within the Internet/ WiFi technologies and or Telecom domain a plus Proficient in SQL / AWS Athena environment Ability to write complex SQL queries, table joins and common table expressions (CTE) Proficiency in statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and probability, to draw meaningful conclusions from data.Can identify important metrics and KPIs related for business and or WiFi technology performance Proficient with project lifecycles - Participates in projects from inception to end, working with project stakeholders to write detailed reporting requirements and delivers reporting milestones during the project lifecycle. Proficient with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Pivot or other reporting/visualization tools Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Telecommunications, Media, or Cable is highly preferred Experience in Internet and WiFi domain a plus. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R for statistical and data analysis a plus Past success in generating new business with existing clients Good time management skills Compensation and Benefits: For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Excelacom is required to include a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. However, final salaries will vary based on several factors, such as candidate’s level, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. An individual may be hired at the Analyst, Consultant, or Manager level for this role with each level requiring an increasing set of responsibilities. For regular full-time employees, the estimated salary range is from $70,000 to $85,000. Our competitive salaries are just one component of Excelacom’s total compensation package for our regular full-time employees.
