Business Operations Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Business Operations Associate to support the growth and daily operations of our property management business. This hybrid role focuses primarily on acquiring new properties while providing operational and administrative support. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and is comfortable managing both client-facing and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Property Acquisition & Client Relations

• Prospect, follow up on leads, and assist with onboarding new property owners
• Maintain regular communication with property owners to ensure satisfaction
• Build and maintain vendor relationships, verifying licenses and insurance
• Track leads, acquisitions, and commission-eligible activities
• Assist with marketing outreach and networking events related to property acquisition

Operations & Administrative Support

• Maintain Rent Manager, Lead Simple, and CRM records; assist with software integration and updates
• Process lease and renewal fees, verify resident utilities, and support collections
• Respond to resident inquiries and coordinate maintenance requests
• Draft contracts, maintain company documents, and support reporting needs
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and assist with process improvements

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication, sales, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with property management software (Lead Simple, Rent Manager)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
• Administrative or bookkeeping experience a plus

Compensation

We offer a competitive and flexible compensation package including:

• Hourly Pay: Base rate starting at $20-$25/hour (higher rates considered for candidates with Lead Simple, Rent Manager, or relevant property management experience)
• Performance Incentives: Commission and bonuses for property acquisition, with amounts commensurate with experience and success in driving growth
