Salary: $40–45K yearly

This position is fully on-site

Summary:

The Business Services Specialist will operate with minimal supervision and will manage the quotation and purchasing processes, handle routine customer orders, and assist with non-standard internal or external customer questions, issues, and complaints. This role works closely with Engineering, Sales, and Distribution to ensure all sales territory accounts are managed effectively and company requirements are met.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and submit customer quotes to the appropriate Sales team member or directly to customers
• Track each quote from start to finish, ensuring timely processing and proper execution; assist in resolving any issues
• Process vendor quotes according to approved discount or multiplier structures
• Respond professionally to routine customer inquiries, comments, and concerns
• Open new customer accounts through phone, email, or correspondence in coordination with the Sales team
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure project requests are completed and sent to customers for review and approval
• Generate documentation outlining customer specifications for Engineering, Accounting, and Quality teams
• Enter data into the CRM as needed and review entries made by Sales team members
• Help monitor and maintain inventory for raw materials, office supplies, and warehouse stock

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, required
• Minimum of one year of experience in business services, customer service, or purchasing, required
• Previous experience in linear motion control or manufacturing is preferred
