About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to oversee the full range of administrative services in support of its mission. The CAO will be responsible for the Department's administrative functions, including budget development, financial management, procurement, human resources, and information technology. This senior executive will be expected to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, implement administrative principles and process improvements, and manage projects and initiatives that align with the organization's goals. The role requires a strategic leader with executive knowledge and experience in large organizational administrative operations, the ability to lead change, and a proven track record in leading people and driving results. Candidates for the CAO position at the company must be U.S. citizens and meet the mandatory executive core qualifications and professional technical requirements. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of senior/executive-level leadership experience in a law enforcement, public safety, or military organization, and experience with federal appropriations law. The role demands a professional with executive expertise in budget formulation, financial management, procurement, information technology, and human resources. The successful candidate will be adept at building coalitions and have a strong background in managing human, financial, and information resources strategically.
