About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead its compliance, privacy, and ethics program. The CCO will be tasked with ensuring that the organization adheres to all federal and state regulations, while also promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability. This includes directing a system-wide compliance strategy, overseeing investigations and risk assessments, and providing regular reports to senior leadership and the Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively identifying and mitigating risks, as well as leading the development of staff to ensure that their activities align with the company's mission, vision, values, and operational goals. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, with a strong preference for advanced degrees such as a JD, MHA, MPH, or MBA. A certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC or equivalent) is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of leadership experience in healthcare compliance, with a preference for those with a background in behavioral health, Level 1 trauma centers, and/or academic medical centers. The role also involves managing departmental budgets and leading a team, so experience in staff management and development is essential. The CCO will play a critical role in ensuring that the company's operations are in line with its mission of providing exceptional care to every patient, every time.
