Position Summary

The Airline Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting airline travel arrangements for Flexjet flight crews. This role ensures cost-effective, efficient, and timely booking of commercial flights while upholding Flexjet’s standards of service. The coordinator will work closely with crew scheduling, airline partners, and travel vendors to provide reliable solutions to complex and time-sensitive travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and book airline and car rental travel for Flexjet crew members both domestically and internationally, ensuring timely positioning for duty assignments.
• Monitor flight schedules, disruptions, and irregular operations, proactively resolving travel conflicts or delays.
• Utilize SABRE GDS system to confirm reservations, ticket, and modify commercial airline requests.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies, contractual agreements, and negotiated fare structures.
• Maintain accurate records of airline bookings, changes, and cancellations.
• Partner with crew scheduling and other internal teams to anticipate travel needs and adapt to operational changes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for crew members regarding airline travel arrangements, providing prompt support.
• Monitor multiple communication channels including Outlook, Zoom, Teams, and phone calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate travel consultant environment.
• Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Sabre experience highly desirable).
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
