Event Overview • Wednesday evening: networking mixer with AECOM staff, career paths, company overview • Thursday: on-site interviews at our Boston office Role Summary We are seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer to support our Environmental compliance, remediation, permitting, and planning projects within the Environment business line. Candidates will be based in one of our New England offices (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, or Maine). Responsibilities Site visits at industrial, military bases, and municipal clients Data collection and analysis for environmental compliance, sustainability, and stormwater projects Environmental sampling (stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste) Development of technical memoranda and reports Preparation of environmental reporting forms Travel locally and U.S. travel as project-dependent Build analytic and design skills under supervision Perform engineering design and calculations under supervision Collect and analyze data under supervision Use computer software to solve basic engineering problems Work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience and education) U.S. Citizenship required Valid U.S. Driver’s License (must pass Motor Vehicle Records review) Preferred Qualifications General knowledge of basic engineering and environmental sciences Proficiency in standard office suite software OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to convey complex thoughts clearly and concisely Learn through on-the-job experience Tolerance for outdoor work in varied weather conditions Work independently in office and field Local travel and occasional extended travel Additional Information Relocation assistance not available Hybrid work schedule; office work from a New England office on a scheduled basis Benefits AECOM offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, paid time off, leaves of absence, voluntary benefits, perks, flexible work options, and well-being resources.
