Responsibilities • Develop and implement a tailored sales strategy to build and maintain a clientele for Life Insurance & Health Sales in Charlotte, NC, US.
• Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience.
• Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly manner, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies.
• Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals
• Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales
• Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met
• Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients
Qualifications • Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills play a vital role in excelling in this position.
• The successful candidate should be prepared to acquire or already hold a valid insurance license in North Carolina within 10 days.
• Must have graduated from high school or received a GED.
• Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations
• Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license
• Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
• Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs
