Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director of Business Development and Capture - Full Spectrum Cyber to join our team in Hanover, MD.

This position is in support of cyber network operations opportunities within the IC and select DoD organizations such as US CYBERCOM. They work closely with the Vice President of at least two divisions and the Vice President of Growth for the Intel Sector to develop an executable Market Account Plan that focuses on identifying, qualifying, and winning new business with this customer.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive business expansion efforts within the Intelligence Community and DoD, with a focus on Cyber organizations across military branches and their interactions with USCC and the IC.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in cybersecurity, IT, software development, infrastructure, and analytics across the organization and its stakeholders.

  • Cultivate deep knowledge of MANTECH’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives and align solutions that successfully support cyber related missions by collaborating with operational and technical teams.

  • Build and manage strong customer relationships and industry partnerships to support long-term growth and teaming opportunities.

  • Analyze customer budgets (e.g., NIP/MIP) and market trends to uncover actionable opportunities within the Cyber domain.

  • Lead opportunity capture strategies and proposal development efforts by working closely with proposal operations, solutions architects, line operations, business growth colleagues, and other corporate resources and leadership

  • Maintain a robust pipeline and execute a structured customer call plan, providing introductory and ongoing briefings with various leadership and management teams through development and execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a technology background

  • 12+ years performing Business Development (sales, marketing, capture) activities in the IC, with direct Cyber experience within the last 3 years. Strong preference for candidates that also managed programs with this customer. A combination of direct industry program and business development experience may also be considered.

  • Prior experience developing business to and/or strong relationships within some/all DoD Cyber organizations and USCC or MPO is required, including knowledge of the various organizations, missions, and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently winning opportunities up to $100M; experience with prospects greater than $100M strongly desired.

  • Strong understanding of the Cyber practice, either through roles as a Cyber SME, academic background, technical experience, or familiarity of mission in order to engage with customers/stakeholders such as the J2.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong reputation in the appropriate customer Cyber communities and have a mix of direct program experience and familiarity with one/more of the Cyber solutions areas (such as Offensive Cyber, Cyber Defense, Cyber Resilience, Cyber Analytics, Risk Management Compliance, Cyber Training, Cyber Range Services)

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.

  • Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customers.

  • Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
