Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for an Air Dominance Experienced Manufacturing Manager (Level L) in Berkeley, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to manage, develop, and motivate high performing teams of employees on the production line. This position is posted for 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers .

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 1+ years’ experience working with or supporting military aircraft.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous knowledge / experience with LEAN
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance and ramp operations
• Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees.
• Ability to work any shift

Summary pay range: $124,950 – $169,050 USD
