Junior CAD / Print & Pattern Designer

We are a dynamic, design-forward wallpaper company seeking a talented  Junior CAD / Print & Pattern Designer to join our Design & Development team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Design Director and Creative Operations Manager to support pattern development, presentation creation, and asset management. You'll also collaborate across departments to ensure our prints remain fresh, innovative, and ahead of the competition.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives both independently and within a team. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines and producing high-quality work.

Location:

This is an in-person role based at our main office in  Brick, NJ .

Key Responsibilities:

• Research seasonal print, pattern, and color trends in home and fashion.
• Update department keycards with files and development notes.
• Create rough pattern mockups and clean up artwork within repeat boundaries for the Design & Development team and the Custom department.
• Explore colorway iterations and variations.
• Organize and request strike-offs, manage color corrections, maintain the approvals library, and design contracts.
• Maintain organized CAD files according to department workflows.
• Develop and revise trend, design, and company presentations.
• Create original, unique pattern files.
• Source, mask, and build mock environments for marketing assets and pattern presentation.
• Perform color correction on CAD files as needed.

Qualifications:

• BFA in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
• Passion for textiles, interior design, pattern design, and art history.
• Strong conceptual thinking, layout skills, and color sensibility.
• Basic knowledge of print and pattern design, including repeats, color matching/reduction, and colorway development.
• Familiarity with product development from concept through to finished wallpaper design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable sourcing and creating digital mockups of environments.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and presentation skills.
