Job Description

**Field Representative I, Fulfillment** **Position Profile** Provides operational support in a fulfillment center for one or more of the following areas: operates high-volume printing equipment (segment 5) to produce large print jobs on calibrated machines, performs associated copying tasks, ships and receives products and supplies, sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, and applies necessary postage. Also provides copier maintenance and/or repair of customer site equipment. May perform bindery, quality control, final checks, housekeeping, file services, call center support, reception, and other related tasks. May assist with meeting setups and light building maintenance. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** + Runs high-volume printing equipment, including high-production work in a mechanically sophisticated print environment; performs binding and finishing tasks. + Sets up and runs all applications on all equipment. + Ensures convenience copiers are functioning properly; performs daily quality checks, clears paper jams, and reports issues to technicians. + Performs repair services on customer copier equipment. + Maintains records for management reports and supply inventories. + Distributes office supplies, fax transmissions, and mail to personnel or designated drop-off points. + Calculates charges for jobs performed and maintains billing logs. + Responds to and coordinates all customer service calls. + May perform filing duties per customer requests. + Delivers completed jobs to designated locations within or outside the site. + Maintains daily meter and service logs. + May travel between customer buildings. + Answers customer questions regarding job status or feasibility. + Maintains convenience copier areas in a neat and stocked condition. + Performs shipping and receiving duties. + May assist with meeting and conference room setups. + May perform building occupant moves within assigned facilities. + May handle re-lamping and light maintenance tasks. + May perform occasional cleaning duties. + May require periodic overtime, including nights, weekends, and emergency response. + Operates equipment such as shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment, jogger, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler, and scales. + Uses copier equipment, calculator, fax machine, postage meter, and some PC applications. + Performs filing duties, including purging and archiving old documents. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)** + High school diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of related work experience. + Experience in copy jobs, preferably in a high-production, mechanically sophisticated print environment, preferred. + Valid driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage per policy. + Ability to learn complex production and/or communication systems, such as client-specific mainframe applications. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** + Working knowledge of copier and related equipment; repair experience preferred. + Understanding of shipping/receiving procedures. + Basic electronics knowledge preferred. + Ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects. + Ability to determine correct packing methods and verify packing slips. + Ability to comprehend mail delivery instructions. + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and related publications. + Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. **Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands** + Frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, and temperature changes; risk of paper cuts from handling paper and boxes. + Exposure to various weather conditions when traveling between buildings; equipment may pose injury risks. + Daily contact with customers, employees, managers, and dispatch; occasional contact with vendors and repair personnel. + High stress levels due to tight deadlines and quick turnaround times. + Physical effort required: standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.; pushing/pulling machines weighing up to 400 lbs.; walking between buildings may be necessary. **Note:** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed.
