Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Process Engineer specializing in Paper Coating to join our dynamic team in Waco, TX. This role is integral to optimizing our operations and enhancing production processes. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost-efficiency improvements across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and leadership in implementing best practices for process improvements.
Lead and support projects focused on chemical trials, mechanical enhancements, and new technology investigations.
Collaborate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for paper machines to ensure smooth operations.
Identify and implement strategies to enhance existing processes, boosting productivity and quality while reducing costs.
Serve as a change agent, fostering continuous improvement through root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Analyze downtime and coordinate testing to support process advancements and trials.
Work closely with vendors and production teams to resolve quality issues and elevate quality standards.
Review and analyze daily production and quality data to address production and operational challenges.
Provide timely data analysis to enhance team performance and process efficiency.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on paper coating.
2-5 years of relevant experience in the paper manufacturing industry.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and influence others effectively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
