About VocoVision :
VocoVision is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide remote interpreting services for K-12 students in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will facilitate clear communication for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing in a fully virtual learning environment.
What Youll Be Doing :
Provide real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during virtual classes.
Translate lessons, discussions, and instructional materials into ASL.
Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to ensure effective communication and engagement.
Support classroom inclusion by ensuring students can fully participate in virtual instruction.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with school teams as needed.
Requirements :
Masters degree preferred.
Certification or proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter (ASL).
Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
