Job Description

A part-time Behavior Interventionist position is available for the school year at a K-12 school located in Glendale, AZ. This contract role involves working 20 hours per week to support students with behavioral needs, contributing to a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote effective behavioral strategies.
• Monitor student progress and modify interventions as necessary.
• Assist in data collection and documentation related to behavior plans.
• Support the maintenance of a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Arizona Department of Education (ADE) certificate in special education, school counseling, or school social work.
• Masters degree preferred in a behavioral health field such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), psychology, counseling, or social work.
• Experience working with K-12 students in behavioral interventions is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to utilize behavior analysis principles and strategies effectively.
