This is an onsite position in Boaz, AL.
Warehouse Operations:
Manage daily operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. Ensure smooth handling of e-commerce order fulfillment, customer delivery routes, and internal store supply. Maintain inventory accuracy through periodic cycle counts and audits. Implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of approximately 60 employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff. Ensure team adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational goals.
Logistics & Coordination:
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and store teams to meet delivery and fulfillment schedules. Optimize delivery routes for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Address and resolve operational challenges to minimize disruptions.
Safety & Compliance:
Develop and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe storage, handling, and use of equipment. Investigate and address safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Technology & Reporting:
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other tools to monitor inventory, shipments, and performance metrics. Prepare and present operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior leadership. Stay informed about emerging warehouse technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
